Who is responsible for your information

CODEWARD ENGINEERING DOO BEOGRAD (ZVEZDARA) is responsible for the personal information we collect through this website and our business inquiries. We are based in Belgrade, Serbia. Our registered details are available on the Company details page.

Information you share with us

When you use our contact form, we ask for your name, email address, and a description of your challenge. You may also provide a company name, type of challenge, and preferred timing. If you email us directly, we receive your email address, message, and any information you choose to include.

We use this information to understand your inquiry, respond, assess whether we can help, and discuss a possible engagement. Providing it is voluntary, but we need enough information to respond. Please do not send passwords, access credentials, sensitive personal information, or confidential source code in an initial inquiry.

Why we process information

We rely on our legitimate interests in responding to business inquiries, maintaining relevant correspondence, and operating a secure website. Where you personally request steps toward a contract with us, processing may also be necessary to take those steps. If a legal obligation requires us to retain information, we retain what is necessary for that obligation.

Sending an inquiry does not subscribe you to marketing emails. We do not sell your personal information or use it for advertising profiles. We do not make decisions about you using automated profiling.

Website operation and security

Our hosting service processes technical information needed to deliver and protect the website, which may include your IP address, requested pages, request time, browser information, and error records.

The contact form uses your IP address to create a pseudonymous identifier for limiting repeated submissions. Its security records contain submission times, outcome categories, and a shortened identifier. The application does not put your name, email address, or message in those security logs. A pseudonymous identifier can still be personal information.

The form also uses a hidden spam-detection field and the time taken to complete the form. The website application does not keep a separate database of inquiry messages.

Who receives information

Inquiries are reviewed by CODEWARD's founder and by people authorized to help handle an inquiry when necessary. Our website and mail routing use Namecheap. Messages sent to our public business address are forwarded to a Gmail inbox, so Google also processes the correspondence. The destination address is not published.

These providers handle information under the terms applicable to the services we use. Their privacy information is available from Namecheap and Google. We may also disclose information when necessary to meet a legal obligation or establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.

Where information is processed

We access inquiry correspondence in Serbia. Our hosting and email providers may process information in other countries, including the United States. The locations and protections depend on the services and account terms in use.

How long we keep information

For inquiries that do not become client engagements, we delete correspondence after 12 months without further contact. Information needed for an engagement, a legal obligation, or a dispute may require a longer retention period.

We keep the contact application's security logs and pseudonymous rate-limit records for no more than 30 days. The active rate-limit window is shorter. Hosting logs, email deletion, and backup copies follow the applicable provider settings and retention arrangements.

Cookies and similar technologies

This website does not use analytics cookies, advertising trackers, embedded social feeds, or browser storage to track visitors. Fonts and website assets are served with the site. Links to other websites are subject to those websites' own privacy practices.

If we introduce services that change this, we will update this policy and provide any choices required before using them.

Your rights

Depending on the law that applies to your information, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction of processing, or data portability. You may also object to processing based on legitimate interests. These rights are subject to the conditions and exceptions in applicable law.

Contact privacy@codewardengineering.com to make a request. We may ask for information reasonably needed to verify your identity, and will respond within the applicable legal timeframe.

You can raise a concern with Serbia's Commissioner for Information of Public Importance and Personal Data Protection. Where applicable, you may also complain to the data protection authority in your country, including an EU supervisory authority or the UK Information Commissioner's Office.
